Laura Vandervoort Biography

Laura Vandervoort (Toronto, 22 September 1984) is a Canadian actress.

For some years, the young actress was involved in various sporting fields, such as football, karate, basketball, tennis, gymnastics and Baseball. At the age of 19 years earned a second degree Black Belt in Karate.

Vandervoot began with the performance at the age of 13 years. In 2004 participated as Carla Stael in the series American Chosen Ones. His most important role has been to interpret the role of Kara-On (Supergirl), raw Clark Kent (Superman) in the series Smallville. Also participating in the MTV series Instant Star, as Sadie Harrison.

Laura has been chosen for the sequel starring in the film into the Blue 2: The Reef, formerly starring Paul Walker and Jessica Alba, Laura is already filming this movie whose premiere is scheduled for early 2010
